Lucía Jiménez de Butler has over five years of experience interpreting English and Spanish for patients and doctors in medical offices and hospitals. Our Spanish translation team has also worked with defendants, investigators, police, and government agencies in legal settings. We provide interpreters to all Central Texas including: Round Rock, Georgetown, Cedar Park, Hutto, Leander, Killeen, Temple, and Austin.
Lucy has also taught English and Spanish classes. She has owned and operated her own language school for three years. Lucy is from Merida, Yucatan in Mexico.
An interpreter facilitates oral communication in a simultaneous or consecutive fashion between two more speakers. Interpreters must be able to think quickly on their feet to provide both accurate and timely assistance to their clients. A translator provides written or otherwise recorded communication. Translators can often spend more time researching the best way to express an idea from one culture to another.
